SERIOUS TRAP ACCIDENT IN THE AVENUE.

A trap accident, attended with serious consequences, occurred yesterday afternoon. Mr. Samuel Wilson, a wellknown settler of Mars Hill, had been in town on business and had just started on his homeward journey when, as he was driving down the lower end of tho Avenue ho had to pass between two other vehicles. From 'what we can gather the horses in one of these vehicles swerved, with the result that a, violent collision occurred. Mr.. Wilson j was thrown out of his trap and fell heavily upon his head. The accident occurred in close proximity to Mr. A. E. Kitchon's pharmacy, into which the injured "man, who had been rendered insensible, was carried. Dr. Anderson was telephoned for, and was speedily in attendance. An examination showed that in addition to having sustained a very severe shaking, Mr. Wilson was also suffering from concussion. x\fter everything possible, had .been done for him, Mr. Wilson was removed to his home in a cab. On inquiry at a late hour last evening .we learned that his condition was.serious, and that he was still dazed and practically unconscious. Mr. Wilson's many friends will learn with regret of his accident, and will join with us in the hope that he will speedily recover from his injuries.
