BLENHEIM, February 3. At the New Zealand Egg-Laying Competition, the total for. the fortieth week is 1657, grand total 72,744. The (higlhest layings <were—-Brooks, White Leghorns, South Australia, 31; Aldridge, White Leghorns, Blenheim, 30; Hickmans, ißrown Leghorns, Balcfairn, 30. The order of ineiut in th!e grand aggregate is—<Leger, ■of Levin,'? 1143; Brooks, of South Australia, 1048; Marlbarougjh A. and P. Association, 1022 j Jonathan CBodgson, (Blenheim, 998; Mick Sliaw, .Blenlieim, 996; Hockey, Nelson, 955. All these pens iare White Leghorns. The moult is proceeding satisfactorily:
