IN pursuance of "The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1895," J, Thomas Dick Cummins, Returning Officer for the Wanganui Licensing District, do hereby give notice that on the fith day of December, 1905, the day appointed for taking the Electoral Poll of the Electors of the Electoral District of Wanganui, simultaneously therewith a Licensing Poll will be taken upon the following proposals:— 1. I vote that the number of Licenses existing in the district continue. 2. I vote that the number of Licenses existing in tho district be reduced. 3. I vote that no Licenses be granted in the district. Nominations for the appointment of scrutineers in accordance with the Licensing Poll Regulation Act, 1899," musb bo lodged with me not later, than 5 o'clock in the afternoon of the 29th day of November. 1905. IN pursuance of "The Electoral Act, 1905," I, Thomas Dick Cummins, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Wanganui, do hereby give notieo that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date tho 22nd. day'of. November, 1905, under the hand of tho Clerk of the Writs, ah election will be held for the return of a qualified person to Serve as 'menibeV for the said district; and tn.^ tho latest day for receiving nominations of candidates will be the 28th day of November, 1905; and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district on the sixth day of December, 1905.
