NELSON, November 18
An information has beon laid by the Registrar of Electors atfsNelson against Mr Harry Atmore, a candidate for the Nelson seat, who, it is alleged, signed a claim for enrolment which ha<Kpreviously been declared by the claimant under section. 150, sub-section 3, of the Electoral Act, 1902. The case will be heard on Monday.
HASTINGS, November 17. At the Police Court,, John Reid, charged with forging a cheque for £2, pleaded guilty, and was committed to Wellington to be sentenced by & Supreme Court judge.
