ALLEGED INDECENT ASSAULT
Th<! jury having failed to agree on Thursday in tho charge against Henry Griffiths of having indecently assaulted a young girl of 12 years of age, anotliei1 trial took p!aco_ yesterday before tho following jury:—Charles Perrett (Foreman), D. McLachlan, G. F. Harris, H. Allan, A. Robinson, J. Wallace, W. J. Gilberd, W. E. Wakely, J. Love, J. G. Foy, W. C. Staite, and S. Mildenhall.
Tho jury retired at 12.50 p.m., returning about 3.15 with a A rerdict of not guilty.
In the charge against tho same accused of having indecently assaulted a sister of the abovo girl, tho jury on Thursday also brought in a verdict of not guilty. IN DIVORCE.
Hamlin v. Hamltn, wife's petition for dissolution of marriage on the grounds o? desertion.
Tho case was adjourned till 10 o'clock next day to allow of the attendance of petitioner's son.
