Spring is here, and with it such a profusion of New and Pretty Goods that we hardly know where to begin. So instead of the usual advertisement we shall indicate a few of Dame Fashion's decrees, and merely request you to call and see our offerings at the earliest possible moment. DRESS STUFFS. —Embroidered spots and figures and lines of a similar nature are immensely popular. Taffeta and Canvas Voiles, Jacquard Eolinnes, Broche Crepolines and Panama Beiges predominate; Checks, too, medium and small, are to be worn. In cottons, check Zephyrs, with Jacquard spot or figure, and flower effect lawns and voiles are the newest, though spots are also popular. TRIMMINGS. —The trellis styles are the latest, say in 1 inch or 2 inch; also in all over 18 inches wide. Colors Black, Ivory, and Champagne. FANCY GOODS. —Novelty ribbons a feature this year. Bordered pleated chiffons are now much used for sleeve and mantle trimmings. Mechlin Tulles and nets will adorn most hats. Veilings will be universally worn.
