SYDNEY, September. 4.
At the Lands Commission, J. B.Stephens gave evidence that what purported to be his signature, taking up a certain lease, was a forgery. He gave no authority to take it up, nor paicfc any money in connection therewith. He> declared that the evidence he gavewhen previously before the Commission* was all false. Hoskins, station managerfor Willis, persuaded him to give falseevidence.
