Cadman was caught easily by Newland at mid-off after playing slow cricket. Ho gave a chance when 23 and twice escaped being run out Four for 192.
Hunter was bowled when the total was 209.
Cotter made short work of the remainder of tho team, the last four wickets producing as many cyphers. Tho sixth arid seventh wickets fell at 226, Walkden being clean bowled and Humphries played tho first ball on. With the total at 227 Bestwick was run out, and Morton had added 4 when Cotter brought the innings to a close by bowling Marples, leaving the Australianu victors by 105 runs.
