TOWN HALL FOR BLENHEIM.
BLENHEIM, July 12. A poll was taken to-day on a proposal to .raise £4000 for the erection of a Town Hall in Blenheim, and was carried by 304 to' 221. Considerable interest was taken in the event, the old ' theatre, which did duty for thirty years, having been converted into business premises nearly two years ago, and the town having been without a large public hall ever since.
