Received July 12, 0.20 p.m

LONDON, July 12

The captain of the St. Kilda, interviewed by the Marseilles correspondent of the Marseilles Journal, stated that the commander of the Dnieper intimated at Port Said that he was taking us to Russia. One of us escaped and appealed to the British Consul. The captains of the cruisers Lancaster and Siffolk and the Consul came aboard and demanded our release. The commander refused.
