SYDNEY, July 12. A few days ago a white woman was coKvicted of attempting to poison a Kanaka with whom and another Kanaka she had been living. Yesterday it was discovered that both Kanakas were safEering from leprosy in an advanced form. It is now stated that the symptoms of arsenical poisoning are identical with those of a certain stage of leprosy. A further development of the casa is therefore possible.
