DUNEDIN, July 11
At a meeting of the Otago Boxing Association to-night, the following re- . solution was passed, ' 'That the Otago Association is strongly of opinion that a governing head for boxing is absolutely imperative, and trusts that the Police -Ottenoas Amendment Act, 1904, will be .^mended in the direction of giving proper recognition to the New Zealand J3oxing Association, and that if any -amendment is made this Association -suggests that the whole of the law reflating to boxing should be incorporated _in a separate Act so as to avoid unpleasantness on the part of the Association with the Police Offences Act.
