SALVATION ARMY.
An attraction for Thursday next is tho Salvatl-m Army's twenty-first anniversary tea, which is to be followed by « selected variety programme of music and song. Among the items rendered will be a local string and reed, with piano accompaniment (piano kindly lent by Mr. Ralph O'Hara). Mr. B. Taylor will give a solo, with full chcrus by tliG Maori Choir. Miss Stirling will also sing. The admission to tho tea and musical evening is—Adults' tickets Is., children 6d., musical evening only 6d. Those who attend the tea will therefore receive a pass to the neeting. Proceeds in aid of the local corps. Everything seems to point to there being no lack of interest displayed in the Army's twenty-first anniversary.
