STEPSON will be at ifoe service of Breeders in the Wanganui and Marton districts. This powerful horse stands 16.2, and measures 8f in. below the knee. He is limited to 50 mares at a fee of 4 guineas. Being got by Stepniak, who in turn was by Nordenfeldfc, a son of the mighty Musket out of Steppe, who was the dam of Mahaki, Russley, Lady Norah, and She, the dam of the flying Bobadil, who won in stakes the sum of £7697. Stepson's dam, Britomarte, is a full sister to Euroclydon. Lady Gertrude, the dam of Britomarte, was also the dam of Blizzard, La Reine, Mistral (dam of Pampero) and Mist (dam of Vladimir). Lady Gertrude was by Cadogan, son of Oremome, out of a Traducer mare. No _ Name, who was the dam of Oudeis, winner of the C.J.C. Welcome and C.J.C. Derby. -Disowned C.J.C. Derby and Great Northern Derby, also Nonsense, winner of many faces. Stepniak is the sire of Mensohikoff, Kremlin, Boris, Orloff, Madrigal, Petrovna, Ostiiak, and a host of others, the stock having won the C.J.C. Welcome Stakes, C.J.C. Derby, C.J.C. Champagne, C.J.C.
