United Prose Association—Copyright Received November 30, 8.30 a.m. CALCUTTA, November 29. . A fire has broken out aboard the steamer Apairima.

Per Press Association.. DUNEDIN, November 30. The Union Company are in receipt of tho following cable from their Calcutta agents: "The fire broke out in the after hold of the Aparima on tho evening of November 26, and was extinguished .next morning. About 600 tons of cai-go .are being discharged from itihe after hidl'd in consequence of being damaged by fira and water. The ship apparently is not damagedj and dt is intended she shaiDl sa;.l for New Zealand on December 6. .
