THE HOMES DISQUALIFICATION.
APPEAL
WANGANUI J.C. DECISION UPHELD.

WELLINGTON, September 16. The judges appointed by the Racing Conference to hear the appeal of Will'am Homes against the decision of the Wanganui Jockey Club,, which cancelled' Homes' -trainer's.license, and disqualified him during their pleasure, have given their judgment. The chief grounds submitted in support of the appeal were that Homes -aid not have a fair hearing before tho Wanganui Metropolitan Club; that the evidence he desired to submit was not .received, and the witnesses he wished to call were not heard. The judges find that there were no grounds for these allegations. They confirm the decision of the Wanganui Club, and dismissed the appeal, the deposit to be forfeited.
