BLENHEIM, September 16. The Governor, with Lady Plunket and suite, and the Hon. C. H. Mills, arrived at Picton by the Hin&moa to-day, and were welcomed by the Municipal authoritiies, and subsequently entertained at a. kincheon. His Excellency paid a tribute to the scenic beauty of the Sounds districts, and said he reoogni&ed that Pkvton was destined to be a.-oity of importance. The vice-regal party took the train in the afternoon, and passed through Blenheim "to Ugbroke, where they willl bo the guests of Mr. H. D. Vavasour. They •will return to Blenheim to-morrow morning to open the 'Marlborough Exhibition, which con tains a. large collection of entries from inside and outside the province. Mr. Seddon and about 25 members of Parliament will also arrive to-morrow morning from Wellington. It has been raining slightly .but the weather is clearing for the ■
