BUSINESS NOTES.

To-day at 1 o'clock Mr Kecsing will sell at his mart a lot of boots and shoes, gold, silver, and metal watches, and a nice lot of fancy goods. The-'ie. latter belong to the same vendor -as the boots, and those wlia (bought at Friday's and Saturday's sales will know that this sale will be a genuine one. . The first spring show of millinery at Mr Littlejohn's emporium attracted considerable attention. The large- and up-to-date .showroom, which was tastefully arranged for the occasion, was thronged with interested visitors on Friday and Saturday, and the freely-expres&ecl opinion was that the firm has never given a finer display. Mr W. Minchiirbqn announces that he has commenced 'business as a blacksmith in premises opposite the Public Library. Mr Minchinton has had many years of experience in the trade.
