Nominations for all events will close with the Seci-etnry afc the office of the Club, Bulls, on SATURDAY, 27th August, 1904, at 9 p.m. Weights for the First Day's Events will be declared on or about SATURDAY, 10th September, and for the Second Day's Events at the office of the Club at 7.30 p.m. on the evening of the First Day. Acceptances for the- First Day's Events will close with the Secretary at the offico of the Club, Bulls, on THURSDAY, loth September, 1904. at 9 p.m., and for the Second Days Events at the same place at 9 p.m. on the evening of the First Day. RULES. ( All races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. A hack is a horse which has not, at time of nomination, won a race of the value of 80.soys., or races of the collective val-je- of 200 soys. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 7 lbs., of two or more races 10 lbs. All entries to be sealed and addressed to tho Secretary, Rangifcikei Racing Club, Bulls, and entrance money to be enclosed with, name of horse, age at time of entry, name of owner, pedigree, and colours of riders. Bookmakers, their clerks, agents, or assistants will not be_ allowed on the grounds of the Rana;itikei Racing Club. H. A. GOODALL, Secretary.
