AMERICAN THEATRESCOPE.
On Wednesday and Thursday next the public will have an opportunity of. w.tnessing two of the best entertainments ev-eir given in Wanganui in the cinematograph line. The American Theatresoope Company have films measuring 24,000 feet in length, and by means the most up-tto-datd an.mated pictures are thrown on the screen. On© of these pictures represent the pantomime of Bluebeard, tlho film of whfch alone is 1400 feet and ths< representation lasts 35 minutes; another picture .is that of a Mexican bull fight, which took place in Mexico stome little time ago before President Diaz, land lin which the whole of the proceedings from the entry of the matadors, picadors, etc., into the arena to 'the carrying off of the slaughtered bull by a mule team will be shown by a film 1000 feet .Hong; the Mont Pelu-e eruption in ■Martinique 'is shown to per. fection, as is also tihe battle of Chemu'lpho Bay. The management have arranged to have the electric Eght installed into the machine, and will pro. balbily have the largest picture ever shown here. There are many other interesting sentimental and humorous pictures, but to ..particularis© these would occupy too much <space. In every town the Company have shoiwn tlhe papers are louden their praise of the entertainments, and we woulid advhse all to attend tthe Opera House at 8 o'clock on Monday and Tuesday evenlings next.
