MELBOURNE, September 4
As a result of the conference between Sir E. Barton, Mr. Copeland (who represents the Commonwealth Pacific Board), and Mr. Reynolds (general manager), Sir E. Barton states that satisfactory arrangements. have been come to as regards the Pacific cable business. He adds: "It seems likely now that no conference with the other partners in the cable will be necessary."
