MARIE CORELLI IN THE FLESH
("Daily Mail.") Misa Marie Corelli made her first appearance as a lecturer in London, on the subject of intended vandalism at Strati'ord-oin-Avon.
The audience seemed; to be mone lintenasted in Miss Marie Couelli's personality thtan in her topic. Some of taenii expected to vnd a slmt, girlish creature with soulfujl eyes and and Haven hair. Bvk Miss Gorellil ia very fa^r, of sacaal'l stature, and of quite matronly appearance. She was arrayed in a wonderful white satin low-necked robe, with a long train depending from the shoulder. Her golden hair was so arranged that a single ringlet fell artlessly upon her necjk. Her voice is musical, and rises and fall* in gentle waves, but she spoke at times with fire.
