ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE NEW
ZEALAND TOUR.

The- New Zealand Cricket- Council met to-night and arranged the programme of the tour for Lord Hstivrke's team, as follows:— Auckland, December 19, 20, and 22; South Turaiiaki, at Hawera> December 30 andi 31; North Taranaki, at New Plymouth, January 1 and 2; Wanganui, January 3, 5, and 6; Manawatu, at Palmerston. North, January 7 and 8; HawkeVßay, «t Napier, January 10, 12, and" 13; Wairarapa, at Uieytown North, Januaiy 15 and 16; Wellington, January 17, 19, and 20 ; Marlborougli, at Blenhefm, Januaiy 23 and 24; Nelsiju, January 27 and 28;'J5rest Coast, at (Jieymoiith, Januaiy 30 and 31 and Fel> vuaiy 2; Canterbury, at Cluistchurch, Februaiy 6, 7. andl 9; Otago, at Dunedin, Fi-bruaiT 13, 14, and1, 16; South OtagO', at Ba'clutha, February 18 and 19; Southland, at Invercargill, February 21 and 23; South Canterbiuy, at Timani, March 4 and 5. The dates for the New Zealand matches will be arranged after the arrival of the team in Auckland.
It was resoilved to appoint one selector fyv the New Zealand team, and the appointment wa* deferred.
