THE MISSING BOAT.

The Premier has received from/ Captain Worsley, of the Government steamer Countess ofßanfurly, an account of the search for the Elingamite's missing Boat. Captain Worsley reports that he searched the Three Kings Islands*, but found no trace of recent habitation. He then- proceeded east, but was prevented searching the south-west of Cape Maria Van Dieman by wind1 and ounent north-east by east. When off the west side of the Three Kings lie spoke the barque Goboburni, from Newcastle to Callao. She had passed 33 miles north of tho Three Kings, but sw\v nm sign of tho missing boat. Her .captain, promised to keep a, look-out for the next hundred miles to tho east. The Countess of Ranfurly then zig-zagged buck to Auckland, having covered 1928 miles. Captain W-orsley thinks the only hope of the occupants of the boat being rescued/is that they have been picked up by an eastward-bound vessel.
