NAPIER, October 9. Tho weather was again fine for the second duiv of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's Spring Meeting, and there was another large attendance. The racing was very fine, some of the finishes being so close that only the judge could tell which horse had won. The sum of £5617 was put through the totalisator. The following are the results:

Second Handicap Hurdles, 1% miles.— Pearlshot 1, The Gryihon 2, Master Model 3. Won easily. Time, 3min. 20sec. Dividends, £6 2s and £2 14s.

Juvenile Handicap. 4 furlongs.—Star-shot 1, Sans Peur 2, Bandmaster 3. Won by a length. Time,' 50£ sec. Dividends, £3 2s and 10s.

Spring Handicap, V K miles.—Convoy 1, Menuro 2, Grey Seaton 3. Won by a neck. Time, 2min. liscc. Dividends, £2 6s and 14s.
