SERIOUS BICYCLE ACCIDENT.
CHRISTCHURCH, October 4,
Mr. A. C. Steele, Christchurch representative for the Wellington fruit auctioneers, Griffiths and Co., met with a, seriout accident to-day. He was riding a free wheel bicycle before a strong northwest wind. In turning a comer he ran into the kdrb, with the resujt that he sustained conousision of the brain and broken arms. He was taken to the hospital and is now in a precarious: state.
