Pan-German newspapers affirm the Kaiser's willingnessi to receivt the Generals, and state the gulf ha« been bridged between the Kaiser and public opinion existing since his visit to* England and refusal to see Kruger.
Tlie Berlin newspaper, "Bor&en Zeitung," says the situation in South Africa will right iteelf naturally, unless the European anti-British agitation should injure tihe Boer cause.
CAPETOWN, October 3.
Andreas Andras Vandermerve, writing to the newspaper ''Johannesburg Leader," says the Generals' appeal ought to have been accompanied by a statement, showing what became of the vast sum of bullion gold taken out of the country by Kruger.
