GOLD AND SILVER EXPORT.
WELLINGTON, October 2.
The export ■of gold from New Zealand during September was 56,783 ozs., valued afc £222,466, against 51,078 ozs., valued at £195,696, in September last year. Last month's return was the largest for sevral years, principally'made, up as follows: — Dunedin 22,442 bzsv, Auckland 16,716 ozs., Greymouth 10,815 dzs., Hokitika. 2,474 ozs.* •Westport 1,844 ozs., Nelson 2,004 ozs., Invercargilll 1,088 ozs)., Blenheim. 400 oz«.
The silver exported was 61,037 ozs.
