CONFERENCE OF FORESTERS.
NAPIER, September 18. A conference of Foresters was held here to-day in connection with the proposal to establish a Subsidiary High Court for New Zealand, with the object of seeming uniformity of administration of clearance laws and of benefit contributions. Delegates were present' from the various districts. Prior to the commencement of the proceedings the Mayor welcomed the delegat-s to Napier. Bro. Gapes (ex-Mayor of Christohurch) re-p!«ed on behalf of the visitors. It was unanimously resolved to form a Subsidiary High Court, and the Conference then went into commtitee to draw up a list of points to be considered by sub-com-mittees, which were formed from the general bodies. Hie f tib-committees are to report at a later stage. The visitors are being entertained at a supper and social this evening.
