LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 17. The Council met at 2.30. Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act Amendment, New River Harbour Reclamation, Christtchureh Tramways District, Balclutha Reserves and Empowering, Dilworth Trustees, Statutes Compilation, Christchurch Ejiectric Power and Loan Bills were committed and reported with amendments. The Mastertion Borough Betterment and Pahiatu-a Cfo'iinty Council Empowering Bills wene committed, reported without amendment, read a first time and passed. The Waimarino County Bill was read a second time. The Council rose at 5 p.m.
