THE BOER GENERALS.
CONTINENTAL ADVICE. Received September 17, 10.Z6 p.m. LONDON, September 17. Three Governments recommend to the Boer generals the wisdom of a conciliatory attitude towards Britain. It is stated in Brussels Boer circles that the generals' friends in London are hoepful of obtaining from the Government a part x>v the whole of the financial assistance for the Boers refused by Mr Chamberlain at the fii'st interview with the generals. Negotiations are proceeding.
