Received September 15, 9.59 p.m. LONDON, September 15. The Boer generals urge the irreconcilable? to restrain their anti-Britishi propaganda;, and recommend a policy of reconciliation. They express, disinclination to lecture, on the ground that they are unacquainted with the European languages* and find it difficult to frame speeches with clearness. ■ Fischer and others, replying to the generaW objections, quote the views of French and German pro-Boer societies, that the Visit alone without delivering speeches would r.ot suffice to raise money.
