The clearance sale commences to-day (Saturday), and the stock must be cleared to make room for the new season's .goods. Some have already arrived, per steamers' Ruapehu, Gothic, and Beira, and will be included in tlxe general knock-down. Now is the time to save money, if you have money. Farmers' produce, furniture, and merchandise of every description fills the sale list for the Central Austion Mart to-day. Mi". J. G. Browne, a« will be seen by advertisement, has a lot of saleable goods to "knock down," and will commence selling at 1.30 sharp. Mr. H. J. A. Randrup, long and favourably known through his association with the cycjle trade in Wangairai, has been appointed agent for the Wanganui district for tihe Rover wheel, and has opened commodious premises in the Avenue, next Mr. Keeping's auction mart. The ■showroom is replete witihi every convenience, and Mr. Bondrup is prepared to execute all repairs and renewals at the (shortest notice. JExcedemt engineering space at tihe back has been taken full advantage of as a workshop, where the latest appliances for repairs are fitted up. Mr. Randrup'e enterprise will doubtless ensure liberal patronage. Messrs. Baddeley and Forlong are again to the front with some seally first-class, daiiy farms for sale or lease. Freeholds can be secured by m-<nng a small deposit. They aiso have some cheap house properties, which are worth inquiring about,1 and sections, both town and suburban, in good localities. In fact they can suit you with anything, frWm~an eighth of an acre upwards.
