(From Our Own Correspondent.) MARTON, Wednesday. The Glerk ojf the Rangitikei County Council notifies that unless-: all outstanding rates are paid promptly legal proceedings will be taken for their recovery without any further, notice. Mr A. H. Knigge, laud agent of Broadway, reports the sale of part of Mr W. ■Saywcll's property in Upper Tutaenui to Mr Guddop at a satisfactory figure. He has several dairy and sheep farms for sale to those who ax-e on the look out for them, also several 4 acre sections at Marton Junction.
