SUICIDES.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, November 24. The wife of James Dawson, member of ihe Permanent Artillery, committed suicide by hanging herself some time on Friday night. She had been an inmate of the Seacliff Asylum for yome time, but was let out, greatly improved. BLENHEIM, Aovember 24.
The body of a man between, 40 and 50 years of age, was found yesterday in Tuamarina Creek. It had been in the water dbout three days. The ease is evidently one of suicide, the right hand being tied to the right leg with flax. The man, who is a stranger to the district, was wearing clothes bearing the brand of the Wellington Lunatic Asylum and marked with the name "Irvine."
