Per Press Association. CHRSSTCHURCH, November 21. The first wool sale of the season was held to-day. There was a good attendance jf buyers, all-, colonial factories being represented. 'Wool suitable for factories *old at full rates, and other sorts at a, little above London valuer The range of prices was—Greasy merino, medium tt? ■rood, 6d to 7J41; inferior, 4£d to 6d: halfbred superior, 5£ to6|d; medium, 4id to sid; inferior, 3Ad to 4£d; crosshred, superior, 4d to 4£d;' medium, 3£d to 3jd; inferior, 2£d to 3d; long wool, superior, 3id; inferior, 2id"; pieces and, bellies, good, 3d td 3id; inferior, 2d to &[d; lqcks', Id to 2d. ' The New Zeahuid Lqan and Merpantilc Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following London market cable, dated 2Qth November, 1901: — Tallow has advanced Is per cwt. since last report.
