LONDON, August 25. In order to complete the projected Home establishment of 35,000 Imperial Yeomanry, 11,000 recruits are still needed. The Hon. St. John Brodrick has appointed a committee to select the best districts for recruiting. , Further particulars of the capture of Haasboek's laager at Doornberg last week show that Colonel Barker's column almost encircled the Boers during the night, and at dawn opened a heavy fusilade with big guns and rifles. For ten minutes the wildest consternation reigned among the enemy. The captures included a- mass of official correspondence. Civil surgeons Peter Randall and W. Fitzpatrick, of the New Zealand forces, arc convalescent and have resumed duty.
