ARAMOHO BOATING CLUB'S CONCERT.

The concert in connection with theAramoho Boating Club was held on Friday evening in the A.B.C. Gray opened the programme with a euphonium solo "Drink to Me Only." Then followed a recitation by Mr Ford entitled "Only a. Jockey." Mrs Croll sang "Carmincita" with great expression. Mr Halligan's whistling solo, "Life's Dream is Ocr," caused a demand for an encore; he responded with the "Mocking Bird." As usual, Mr Richings scored an encore with "A Terible Errible Lot to Do To-day," and gave "What ho! She Bumps." Miss M. Hooper was in good voice, for her difficult song, "If all the Stars were Mine," and she was loudly applauded. Mr J. Key sang "The Bay of Biscay." Mr Jarrett's club-swinging was encored. The clarionet solo by Mr Forbes was a masterly exhibition on that instrument. His piece was "Ma N.ormandie." Miss Gilby sang "Espanita" with such taste and feeling that the audience would not be denied an encore.
