Dear Sir,—The 12 b-h-p portable 'CAMPBELL" Oil Engine with which you supplied me has now been working two months and has given me entire satisfaction, and its simplicity is such that, although we had had no prvious experience oil engines, my son and I were able to ut it together' and start it without asistance from anyone. The hardest work ..ve are doing with it is to rip foot boards {for butter boxes), which it does at an average of 20 feet per minute with continuous roller feed. We can also work a plan»r, a rip saw, and a small circular saw together, and the engine does this work with the greatest ease. It is a beautifully finished engine, gives no trouble, and gives more satisfaction in every way than the meam engin we had at work previously. As regards consumption of oil, when working at full power it consumes barely seven gallons of oil a day, and has with lighter Toads.
