ON WEDNESDAY, 6th March special passenger train -will leave Mangaonoho at 5.b0 p.m., Hunterville 6.0 p.m., lor Marton, returning from Marton at 7.20 p.m. after connecting with trains from and to Wanganui and Palmerston. _, c WANGANUI RACES. On THURSDAY 7th March special passenger train will leave Polinerston at 0.15 a.m., Turakin<i 8.40 a.m., Foretell 5J.25 a.m. or Wanganui, returning on FRIDAY, Bth March from Wanganui at 6.20 p.m. for Mangaonoho and l'olmcrston. On 7th and Bth March the evening trains will be delayed to leave Wanganui at 5.35 p.m. for Mangaonoho and Palmerston, and at 5.50 p.m. for Hawera. Holiday Excursion tickets will be issued to WANGANUI by morning trains on both days from Palmerston, Mangaonoho, Hawera and intermediate stations available for return till 18th March. Conditions of contract and forms of tender to be obtained at the Railway Stations, New Plymouth, Stratford, Feildnig, J-ai-mcrston North, and Wanganui, and the' Stores Manager's Office, Wellington. Tenders to be addressed to the General Manager, New Zealand Railways, Wellington, and to bo marked outside "Tender for Sleepers." The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be acc2pted.
