De Wot,' Steyn, Hertyog and Brand, with 2000 men, are moving South, in the direction of Gotesburg, hoping to cross into the iirange Colony at Norval's Pont.
Ycf.tuday the raiders had reached a point east of riiihpstovra, about midway between Petrusvilic and Colosbufg. The Briti.sh Government is steadily sending men and horses to South Africa to relievo those who have been fighting for any length of time and to make good die waste from casualties and disease.
Sir Alfred Milner lias gone North from Capetown to assume the administration of his .duties in the new South African colonies.
