The thanks of the community are due to Messrs. Uriffiths and Spnrdle for their very outspoken remarks touching tnis matter, and there can be no doubt that they' have suggested the best means of bringing pressure tobear upon the Government and awakening it to the necessity of doing something more in the future than it has done in the past towards ' making this long-delayed road. To those who fear to raise a partisan issue, I would say this, is no party question, and there is no necessity to make it one.
