(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, February 21. The Hinemoa left the Thames with the new lighthouse tower for the East Cape. The Kiaora has been withdrawn from the trade between this port and Napier, mid will.be placed in the Tasmanian coastal trade. She leaves to-day on her last trip to Napier, proceeding thence to Wellington, and on to Hohart, The Omapere will cavry on the East Coast trade. . About £250 has been collected so far for the Grey Memorial Fund. Mr. J. Napier has been elected chairman of the Harboui* Board.

Since the office of Official Assignee was opened in Auckland 1600 persons have been adjudicated bankrupt. Gold valued at £11,800 was shipped to Sydney in the Elingaihite by the National Bank of New Zealand.
