«-, (run Press Associ moN.) CHRISTCHURCU, January 31. Ail old man named Robt. Bolton, 83 years old, died suddenly on Monday afternoon id a hut at Taitapn, in which ho had lived alontf for 30 years. The medical opinion is that death resulted from heart disease. A seven-roomed unoccupied house in Merivale, owned by K. Grecu, was totally destroyed by lire at 3 o'clock this morning. At 10 p.m. last night the house was visited and was then all right. The house vias insured for £300 iu tlie London, Liverpool and Globe oilice. )
