Charles Carr's Stock Sale Kepori.
At the Peilding sale on Friday, 17th inßt, there was a full yarding of both sheep and cattle, consisting of between 8000 and 4000 sheep, and 320 head ol cattle. Although most of the cattle were quitted there was no improvement ia value. The sheep yarded were of excellent quality, consisting principally of wetherß and hoggets. A line of 550 hoggets brod by Messrs J. and E. Heneoa of Bandon, were much admired and realised 9s Id. We quote : — Cattle — Springing heifer?, 31s to £i 133; milch cowh, springing, £4, 6s; fat cowa, £3 la to £4 153 ; empty heifers, £2 63; 18-month steers, £1 83 to ,£1 13 3 ; yeirlinga, £1 ta £1 15s ; wsaners, 10b to 17b 6d. Sheep— Hogget!!, 3s 3d, 4s 3d, 6s 6d, b'a lOd, 7a GJ, 8 s and 9.3 Id ; wether j, B: 7d, 10s, 10s Id, 10j 81 RDd 103 9d ; fat welherf, 11b 6d to 12s 3d ; fat ewes, He Id ; empty I t)WB8, si.
