N.Z.R.A. MEETING.

(Peb Pke;s Association.) Wellington, March 18. Tho annual priza masting of the Now Zealand Hiflo Association begins ot Trenthotn at 10 a.m. to morrow. Tho opening event is the Nelson Match, 200, 500, and 600 yards j seven shots, not couuting for tho Bolt. Entrios aro not yet complete, but it is expected 220 men will bo present. A largo number of woll known shots will bo absont from tho gathering. Tho weather is very flno, and appsars settled, Lateii. Everything is iu raadiucs3 for the opening of the 34th annual meeting of the New Zealand Rifle Association to-morrow and the camp is very lively with competitors arriving and fixing up quarters. Upwards of 70 tsnts have beon pitched as yat. The accommodation is taxed to the utmost-, and in some instances is over crowded, The woather is perfect, and shootists generally admit that if it continues some good Bcoring will be registered. Major Sommarville is io charge of the camp, and has Captain Collins with him as chief of tho council tent. Parslow, of Auckland, waa injured in camp a day or two ago while wrostling, and it is probable he may nob be able to compete.
