TARIFF COMMISSION.
(Per Press Association.) Duneqiv, March 12. The members of the Tariff Commission t3-day visited tho' Roslyn Woollen Mills and afterwards Bxyley and Co.'s tannory, Bayley giving evidence m to some anomalies in the tariff. Certain manufactured leathers which could bo made in the colony were admitted free and duty charged on other leather in the rough. Ho asked for higher duty on imported leather. Iron rolling mills, soap works, wire works, and the Mosgiel Cunp&ny's warehouse wero aJso visited.
