GBAND SACRED CONCERT.

TO-MORROW (SUNDAY) EVENING.

The Gourlays conclude! their Wanganui season last night, when, under tbe heading of "Music, Mirth, and Monody," thny gave the third of thoir interesting and enjoyabla entertainments. Amone; Miss Amy Gourlay'B iloms perhaps the best was her rendering of "4 ye Maria" (with violin obligate) from the celebrated intermezzo in "'Cavalleria Rusticana," while her gerb-comic numbers and rocitationa were of course attractive. Mr William Gourlay equalled bis previous efforts and provoked rounds of laughter by his coEter songs, "The Shop.walker and "'E Dunno where 'B ore." The company ware by Mibb Evelyn Price, whoso pianoforte selections, "Balmoral" and ''Grand Fantasia on A merican Aits," were ylajed in her usual finished style. Miss Bertha Eoberts gave two preily solos.and Mr J. L. Beck contributed two excellent solos, a Caprice in F minor and '■ Listen to the Mocking Bird." The limelight views given in each portion of the programme were thoroughly appreciated, A grand fncred concert will be given to-morrow (Sunday) evening at the Oddfellows' Hall. Miss Amy Gourlay and Mr William Gourlay will be supported by MiES Svelyn Price, Miss Bertha Robartx Mr J. L. Beck (violinist), Mr Oharlei

Lindsay, Mr Waltf r Farquharson.and Mr Potter, Many of the aomis will be illua

trated by limelight effects. Amongst

some of the songs to be given are "Nazareth," "Aye Maria" (with violin obligalo), '• The Lost Choid," "Ora Pro Nobis," "Thou art passing hence" " In sheltered vale," " Billy's ReeV' &c, &c.

A special feature of the conceit will be the exhibition of a series of magnificent views. Tbe charges for admission will be 2s and In, The perfcrmance will commence at 8.30, which will prevent no one from attendance at Church.
