A man named A, E Gurr, n widower, from near AshbiirtoD, was burned to death in a fire which partially destroyed a two-rootned house in St. Asapli street. C. Taylor was also badly burned, and taken to the hospital Theso two mon with aDother, hud beon in the house during thu day smoking uud drinking.
