KULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for Champion Race anjl all Handicaps, including Jumpingevents, must be sent to the Secretary on or before TUESDAY, 11th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event, aud full entry money for Champion Race, to be paid on Nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public Performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and Localities of such Perf srmances ; the remainder of Entrance fee on Acceptance, which cau be made on the ground. Other events post entries. Colours must be named on Nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. The Bicycle Races will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Cyclists' Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, winch reads :— " Every Competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is, jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded from taking part in the Sports. " The Wrestling Event will bo conducted under the recognised Rnles. Auy competitor found guilty of sending in false Performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event, to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his description of Performances. The Committco may disqualify any Competitor bofore or after any Event who shall refuse to make the required Declaration and be shall not be entitled to claim any prize. Entries will be received and Sports conducted under the Printed Rules of the Feilding Athletic Sports, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is.
